Smile

This was the first poem I ever wrote…

Driving on the road,
You must have noticed something odd.
At the traffic light, on the street,
You might have seen poor children meet.

They have no home,
Nor a family to care.
For them their life,
It’s the worst nightmare.

Dreams, they can’t fulfill.
Pain is so deep that it won’t heal.

One can’t understand their emotion.
For everyone, it is just an easy situation.

But a smile,
The only thing which makes them different.
May that smile,
Remain permanent.

I see them smiling,
In my daily story.
It would last for ages,
In my memory!

Just keep smiling, looks good on you!!!

We are writers, my love. We don’t cry. We bleed on paper.
